Recently, as some interest in pop-ups has grown, a quite few galleries invite famous foreign artists to present impressive exhibitions within a short period of time, or group exhibitions of several domestic artists into one theme. This kind of trend is spreading to fill in the gap between the current exhibition and the next exhibition.
JW Art Gallery is hosting the pop-up show with artist Gong Greem, who has thousands of followers on IG. Art Director Lee Ji-soo once presented a vision to fill in this year with the works of talented female artists in the early year. Other than the exhibition, she is planning to make decent art goods, which are inspired by the artist. Because of that, unlike conventional pop-up events, the gallery is becoming such a photo zone throughout the space.
In addition, the spot made with the artist's painting as a motif draws the attention of the viewers, and the bold drawing pattern brings up the refreshing feeling of summer.
This pop-up exhibition is on display with various life goods such as linen bags, stickers, phone grips, cushion covers, and curtains, and will be held until September 18th.
