The 2023 World Art EXPO in Seoul was held on the 9th of February.
On the first day, a large number of visitors viewed. Despite the economic recession, people’s interest in art was obviously high as it has seen. According to experts, it explains that the number of people who want to expand their accumulated knowledge has increased, and an atmosphere of pure art appreciation has been created naturally.
Artist Joo Woon-hang of JW Art Gallery, who was invited by the organizers, explained that it has been very meaningful to be able to meet famous domestic and foreign artists there alongside the works.
He said, “The 1st World Art EXPO in Seoul is an event where galleries and art-related organizations from all over the world, including Korea, participate to inform the public of the new K-art industry.”
His works, which have been loved for a long time under the theme of <The Spring of Consciousness>, are formed with a large circle, horizon, and three vertical lines. Regarding this part, the artist remarked that the above the horizon means sky or spirit, the below means earth or body, O means energy, and III means people and consciousness.” The JW Art Gallery booth, which boasts the most outstanding showcase in the exhibition hall of the ‘2023 World Art EXPO’, was designed by art director Lee Ji-soo.
The World Art EXPO in Seoul 2023, which discovers new art industries and introduces artists' works to the public, will be held at C Hall, COEX until the 12th.
