JW Art Gallery brought up a sensation with Ga Su-Jeong. She is an artist who made a strong impression on international collectors. Her theme and technique of coloring, reminiscent of pop art were outstanding.
Artist Ga Su-Jeong artificially takes the form of a portrait by arranging images already familiar to the public. The artist's subjective view of color and pictorial approach is added to this, and the impression of a character as we have known it is completely reconstructed.
When looking at her works at a glance, the objective form of the character catches the eye first, and the subject of the work is recognized as a familiar figure, but the flow of multiple-dimensional colors gradually filling the inside stimulates the eyes.
